Welcome to Hyperline! Let’s get you online!

Plug the WAN port of your router into your ONT’s activated port. Typically, this is Port 1 or Port 2 (standard fibre), or the 10G port (for Hyperfibre), depending on your order.

For troubleshooting, you can temporarily plug a PC directly into the ONT for testing if the connection is untagged only. We do not recommend this without a firewall for security.

Default Hyperline Settings

WAN Type: DHCP / IPoE (Automatic IP)
VLAN: Untagged (default). VLAN 10 available on request.
MTU: 1500
IPv4: Auto (DHCP)
IPv6: Native (SLAAC + DHCPv6-PD)

DNS (IPv4): Auto (recommended). Optional: Cloudflare (1.1.1.1), Google (8.8.8.8)
DNS (IPv6): Auto (recommended). Optional: Cloudflare (2606:4700:4700::1111), Google (2001:4860:4860::8888)

Router-Specific Guides

  • Login: http://192.168.1.1 — user: admin, pass: admin
  • WAN → Internet → Automatic IP
  • IPv6 → Native, DHCP-PD enabled, SLAAC
  • VLAN: Disabled (default). VLAN 10 only if required.
  • Login: http://192.168.1.1 or routerlogin.net — default: admin / password
  • Advanced → Setup → Internet Setup: Get Dynamically from ISP
  • IPv6 Setup: Auto Detect
  • VLAN: Off (default). VLAN 10 only if required.
  • Login: http://192.168.3.1 (HG659: http://192.168.1.1) — default: admin / admin
  • WAN → DHCP (IPoE)
  • IPv6 → Native (enabled)
  • VLAN: Off unless specified.
  • Login: http://192.168.1.254 — user: admin, pass: printed on modem
  • Internet → Connection: Automatic IP
  • IPv6: On by default (Native SLAAC)
  • VLAN: Off unless service order says 10.
  • Login: http://192.168.1.1 — user: admin, pass: printed on modem
  • Internet: Automatic (DHCP)
  • IPv6: Auto
  • VLAN: Off unless service order says 10.
  • Login: http://192.168.178.1 — login details printed on modem
  • Account Info: DHCP (IPoE)
  • IPv6: Enable → Native / DHCPv6-PD
  • VLAN: Off unless required.
  • Login: via UniFi app or unifi.ui.com
  • WAN: DHCP
  • IPv6: DHCPv6 with /56 prefix delegation
  • VLAN: Off unless required.
  • Login: http://192.168.1.1 — default: admin / admin
  • WAN → DHCP (IPoE)
  • IPv6 → Native / DHCPv6-PD
  • VLAN: Off unless required.
